About: Big Valley Amish Country Tours Big Valley Tours take people back in time about 100 years. the guided tours take you through the valley and explain the Amish customs and explain about the 3 different colored Amish buggies - white top, yellow top, and black tops. Pennsylvania's Amish region is the only area in the world that have 3 different colored Amish buggies. Our carriage can take up to 6 people at one time. Tour can last for 10-15 minutes, or get an expanded tour for a few hours. Along the tour, you can stop at a variety of Amish stores and even be dropped off at our local restaurant (Country Village Restaurant) for lunch or dinner. When you are finished we come back and pick them up to finish your tour. We also have our barnyard family which has numerous pets such as a minature horse, minature donkey, minature ponies, horses, chickens, etc. They are all very friendly and people are welcome to visit them.
