About: Crystal Cave The cave was carefully protected and by 1872, the cave had railings and steps built, a cave tour put together, and the public could tour the caves for 25 cents. Now, an 8 minute presentation and a 45 minute in-cave tour is the main attraction at Crystal Caves. The caves are underground, so bring cool weather type gear, even in the summer. The caves maintain a constant temperature. Quite a bit of information is available on the website, so please check that out before planning your trip. In addition to the caves, there is a miniature golf course with a cave theme and a rock shop featuring all types of crystals.
