About: Independence Seaport Museum
Independence Seaport Museum is located at Penns Landing in Phildelphia. The museum is home to the galleries, a wooden boat building workshop, the Olympia and what seems to be the kids favorite, the World War II Submarine Becuna.

Permanent and temporary exhibits are shown at the museum, as well as some online productions.

Orignially named the Philadelphia Maritime Museum in 1960, the museum moved to its home on Penns Landing in 1978 and has served well over 1 million visitors.
