About: Indian Caverns
Indian Caverns is the 2nd largest cavern in Pennsylvania and consists of two sections. In the historic section, the caves are shallow, but in the giants hall, the ceiling can reach 60'.

The majority of the formations in Indian Caverns are living - which means they are still flowing and growing, although the rate of growth is 1 cubic inch per 120 years. Now think about all those stalagmites and stalactites!

Tours occur every hour on the hour, from 10am to 5pm.

The temperature is a constant 56° F, so bring along a spring or fall jacket, sweater or sweatshirt.
