Lakemont Park dates back to 1894 is the proud owner of the world's oldest roller coaster, "Leap-the-Dips". Built in 1902, it is now a national historic landmark and has been recently restored and available for rides!

Lakemont Park has rides and attractions for the whole family from Bumper Cars to the Tilt a Whirl. The popular Island Water Park has spiraling water slides, and the Pirate Ship Activity Pool.

Lakemont Park hosts special events throughout the year. In September is the Altoona First Festival with many vendors selling crafts and food, and special admission for an all-day ride pass. During the winter season, the park hosts "Holiday Lights on the Lake": fifty-one acres of holiday light displays, combined with the music of the season!

Hours:
Open regularly from June 9 until August 29: Wednesdays through Saturdays 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sundays 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Also open limited days and hours in May and September. Please see website for detailed operating days and hours.
